Snake & Ladders is a strategy board game for two to four players, in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to the rolls of a single dice. Each player in Ludo rolls the dice. To enter a token into play from its yard to its starting square, a player must roll a 6. If the player has no tokens yet in play and rolls other than a 6, the turn passes to the next player. Once a player has one or more tokens in play, he/she selects a token and moves it forwards along the track the number of squares indicated by the dice. Players must always move a token according to the dice value rolled. Passes are not allowed. If no move is possible, the turn moves to the next player.

Snake & Ladders is played between 2 to 4 players and each player waits for their turn to throw the dice.The player who reaches to 100th position by escaping from all the snakes is the winner. There are many snakes and several ladders which makes the game interesting one.So you can play by yourself, or get your friends involved,you can even let the computer control most of the players.
