With this official audio guide, discover the past and present of the Almudaina Royal Palace through videos, historical images and high-resolution photographs. You will be able to select the tour that best suits your tastes and available time! In addition, this app includes subtitles, videos in sign language and audio descriptions for people with visual disabilities.
This monument is called “Almudaina”, which in Arabic means “citadel”, because it is a fortification that had a defensive use since Antiquity. Since the 10th century, Muslims built a large castle here, next to the bay of Palma de Mallorca. Later, the structure of the Muslim Alcázar was used by the Christian kings. Currently, this Palace-Museum allows us to observe its architectural evolution and admire the collections preserved by National Heritage, the institution in charge of its management.
