Yellow Groove vVARY

Yellow Groove Academy is a professional DJ training center based in Bangkok, designed for aspiring DJs at every stage, from beginners discovering their first mix to performers preparing for global stages.

Our structured curriculum blends technical mastery, creative exploration, and real-world practice, all taught by an international lineup of active, touring DJs. With small class sizes and hands-on instruction, students develop essential skills while building their unique sound and performance style.

Courses
Each level is 20 hours long and can be completed over two weeks, with flexibility to finish within one month.

Beginner Level 1 – Foundations of DJing
For newcomers and hobbyists. Learn the fundamentals of DJ gear, musical structure, mixing basics, and start exploring genres. Get introduced to Rekordbox and core DJ effects.

Intermediate Level 2 – Performance Preparation
For those with basic experience or who’ve completed Level 1. Focus on CDJ/DJM operation, creative transitions, live mashups, and effect chains.

Advanced Level 3 – Competitive Performance Skills
For experienced DJs ready to push their performance. Tackle advanced FX layering, live remixing, and competition-level routines. Optional, but recommended for those pursuing a professional path.

Learning Environment
Classes are taught in-person at our Bangkok studio, with a maximum duration of 2 hours per session. Students can reschedule missed hours with instructor approval. Instructors assess learning pace and adjust accordingly, providing extra support or challenges as needed.

Instructors include globally active artists: Nick B, Jammi Jay, Romeo Blanco, KMRK, Duuk, Mordan, and Fahjah. Their combined experience spans clubs, festivals, and industry production, ensuring students gain real insight into today’s DJ landscape.

Performance Pathways
Standout students may be invited to perform live at MUIN Bangkok or participate in YG's Future Artist initiatives, offering first steps into public performance and professional exposure.
