The Battle of Gettysburg was fought from 1st to 3rd July 1863, in Pennsylvania. The battle resulted the largest number of casualties in any battle of the entire war, and was the turning point of the American Civil War. Over three days General George Meade’s Army of the Potomac defeated the Confederate army of General Robert E. Lee’s, ending Confederate attempts to invade the North. The first day ended with the Confederates in control of the town of Gettysburg but they had failed to push on to take the high ground. Day two was a day of a series of actions at both ends of the battlefield at Culp’s Hill and Little Round Top. Day three ended with the disaster of Pickett’s Charge.

Love the game. If only there was a game like it for Antietam, Chanslersville, the Wilderness, etc. The Bullrun game plays the same as Gettysburg & is almost as good. Keep up the good work!!

would have gave it four stars but from what I know about the battle is that the union Calvary had the repeating carbine and could throw 7rds for every 2rds the rebs could,and inflicted heavy losses at first contact which prevented them from getting into gettysburg.the game doesn't reflect this,wish it did.war game rookies need to understand that the turn limit is to make you match the results in the time the generals did.works good on my android

Love your games but this one is handicapped by not having the option to speed up movement. It's a vast, beautifully designed game as always but I haven't got that kind of patience..!
