This is similar enough to the old SSI Panzer Commander type hex games from the 90's. The A.I. is too stupid though, it really ruins it. I bet it works best playing against other human players, never tried.

In the early missions you can conserve your gold and win using the units given. However, about halfway into the game the enemy becomes very strong and you must spend your gold to buy units to win missions. Not surprisingly gold costs real money. At first I really enjoyed this game but forcing me to spend money to finish a game I paid for is not cool.

Good game plsy but whenever i exit the battlefield the game errors out. Excellent strategy game. Turn based. Poor graphics but fun game.
