Really like the updates, please allow for a place to pause the app without having to go back into the app for seamless transitions!
Great content. Admittedly a little petty to not give five stars but the new app takes longer to load than previous versions. Would like to see that fixed.
The content is excellent - but the app is really not where it should be especially for the cost. There are relatively basic features that other podcast/music apps such as Spotify or Podcast Addict have that are missing here. Specifically, I would love to be able to filter episodes by played and unplayed. Also, I'd like to be able to download episodes and then have the download auto-delete once played. Another would be more flexibility about creating a queue of content.
Doesn't pick up where I left off in Android Auto. Sometimes does outside of AA, but usually not. Not a good listening experience EDIT: still not great on v8.7. I start listening to EMA on the way to a shift, get some way through. When I am done- the app has no idea where I was. I choose EMA- starts at the intro. Boo. Luckily you can still pipe it to an external podcast app- Google Podcasts handles this basic function fine.
App is great when it works, but that's the minority of the time. Luckily I'm a resident, so I myself am not paying for the subscription but if I were paying myself with the amount they charge I would expect a lot more of the functionality. The issue is mainly a complete lack of any content loading for stretches of days at a time and videos constantly crashing. If I were reviewing merely the content and the app when it works, it would be a solid 5 stars. Unfortunately that's not the case.
