very fun game but: 1. there's no reason for lightning to be this slow. the currencies in the game are limiting enough anyway. 2. At some point, progress requires more than 3 days for a single upgrade/research/level up. that will kill the game for you.

The game is now in year 02 of it's live service cycle. Ask any of the core player base and they will tell you the game took hard turn towards P2W / way less F2P friendly after the first year anniversary. Equipment and other power creep that were available in Year01 are now harder to get and often requires spending money to do so The bones of the game are solid, the theme is cool and the art style is dope. But I would not recommend this game based solely on the poor monetization

biggest cash grab i have ever seen. there are tons of things you can pay for and the progress is very slow without paying. there's an event that lasts for 4 days where you HAVE TO pay A LOT to have any chance of finishing it, and this event keeps repeating over and over again. the progress slows down considerably as you advance, and you have to pay more and more just to not feel bored. i think this game was made by the greediest people on earth...
