From the United States to Tahiti via Quebec or Switzerland, rediscover the feminine condition through the writings of one hundred and ten authors, known or unknown. The texts chosen range from Antiquity to the 1940s, they are the work of novelists, midwives, poets, physicists or salt shakers, and are extracts from novels, letters, essays, poems or autobiographical texts.

You will be able to read texts from women of letters such as George Sand, Mme de Sévigné, Jane Austen or the Brontë sisters through extracts from their greatest works. You will also be able to discover the paths of real feminists such as Olympe de Gouges, Flora Tristan or Hubertine Auclert. You will reread the memories of artists such as the portrait painter Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun or the actress Sarah Bernhardt, or of scientists like Marie Curie. You can immerse yourself in texts on art, culture, motherhood, invisible disability, political commitment or the reconciliation of professional and personal life. You will be able to discover several couples of authors who are mother and daughter.
