Word Power vVARY

Word Power was developed for those who want to master English from the ground up.

The key to language learning is repeated listening. Just as a young child learns by listening again and again before ever writing, you too need an app that lets you practice repeated listening with accurate pronunciation. Without it, even after 10 years of study, you may find yourself stuck in the same place.

We designed Word Power with convenient repeated listening at its core.

You'll build your vocabulary through repeated listening with clear pronunciation, example sentences, and idioms; reinforce memorization with thorough review; and strengthen comprehension through repeated listening with English-to-English explanations as well as repeated listening and reading of 312 Aesop’s Fables. We take pride in delivering the most effective learning experience.

If you keep listening, your tongue and hand will follow. Listening, speaking, and writing will move forward together like three wheels. The first wheel is repeated listening.

Word Power consists of five tabs.

1. Settings Tab
1) Select the word category to study
(1) Academic level: 12,103 words
> Elementary and middle school: 2,420 words
> CSAT: 4,340 words
> TOEFL: 5,340 words
(2) Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): 1,380 words: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2
(3) Life: 1,930 words: Home, Family & Friends, Personal Characteristics, Health, Economy, etc(30 topics)
2) Set reading speed
3) Set voice pitch

2. Words Tab: Study words from the selected category
1) Search: Select a word to start studying
Example: Enter "p" to search for words starting with "p" Start from a word
Example 2) Entering "ph" starts with the word closest to "ph"

2) Word Navigation
(1) Previous: Move to the previous word
(2) Middle: Move to the middle of the category word
(3) 《: Move to the first word
(4) 〈: Move to the previous word
(5) Current word position / total word count
(6) 〉: Move to the next word
(7) 》: Move to the last word

3. Review tab: Review the words you've studied
1) Search: Specify the word to start reviewing
Example 1) Entering "p" starts with words beginning with "p"
Example 2) Entering "ph" starts with the word closest to "ph"
2) Number of first letters: Adjust the difficulty level using the number of first letters displayed
3) Random: Randomly shuffle words
4) Previous: Previous review word set
5) Confirm: Check if the entered word is correct Confirm
6) Next: Next review vocabulary set

4. Reading tab: Study 312 Aesop's Fables with vocabulary.
