Alexander Bryan-Taff (Alex)

This game has possibly my favorite writing in the Simulacra series. One of their new features is a little rough, (in coding only, the concept is excellent and still decently executed, especially for a feature that would be very difficult to build) but it doesn’t make the game unplayable by any means, just break the immersion a bit. Other than that one gripe, I have no criticisms. The plot, world building, characters and game play are all exceptional and definitely worth the cost.

Huge fan of the Simulacra series, but I felt this one was too short. Some cool new concepts were introduced, and a pretty good script with relevant commentary on current affairs, but definitely should be longer. They had a lot of material to work with in the story (e.g., could have added more missing persons cases and expounded more on the lore), I think, but the ending felt so abrupt.

Good game and a lot of work done to make some things feel realistic. The problem is that if you have played the first two games in the Simulacra series, this one really falls short. The second one was so impressive and really has you get to know multiple characters. Once you release one done that well, you have to at least meet the same level of expectations or even beyond. Game number one, 4 stars. Game number 2, 5 stars. Game number 3, 3 stars. Seems they went in the wrong direction.

The story seems fine, but it glitched and started a new game and I can't look at the texts without the game freezing unless I close the game and open it back up and lose my progress (which doesn't get far because Ruby won't text me no matter what I do) again. I also can't look at the videos, the Atlas Guide is completely gone. Also, Ruby's picture in the phone contacts is literally just white.

Lin Sparks

One of the worst installments of the game. Making the Simulacra into a haunting ghost of a witch was the major key error here which took the creepiness factor away from the creature. Also bland story, bad acting, horribly difficult puzzles, frustrating beyond all barriers, especially the passphrase puzzle nearly made me loose it, cause of absolutely lack of hints and any help. Characters are all total jerks too. Do not waste your time and money with this installment pls
