Finally I found yoga nidra practices that work! Worth the money. I couldn't find good ones on Spotify & on YouTube you get ads if you don't have a membership. The narrator has a nice voice. There are 7 exercises: like one for sleeping and another for relaxation/restoration during the day. I like that she often uses exercises with contraction and relaxation of the muscles. I found it via Andrew Huberman's show notes.
The content is great, but the app itself could do more work. Also, it would me nice to have more variety in the meditations.
I just tried to install this app. No icon on my phone. Only way to access seems thru play store. Right now I am quite disappointed, but the silly 2 hour window doesn't allow a refund. Glad it wasn't very expensive. I eventually found the app on my device. I expected to see it as "amYogaNidra" or "yogaNdra". Instead it's "Kamini Desai" which I don't find intuitive.
Frankly, I'm disappointed. The app works. The voice is pleasant. But little detail. I'm an experienced meditator, and done YN for some time. Despite the credentials offered, not even close to worth the money. Surprised.
The instructor appers to be in a hurry like it's not meditation but some kinds of a sport, only a quite one. I find the material very superficial and ineffective.
