Afterplace v1.2.20
Evan KiceAbout this app
Developer Description
An open world adventure game filled with silly characters and terrible secrets.
Afterplace has been designed from the ground up to be a fast, fluid, beautiful experience for mobile. There are no virtual buttons. You can move and attack by touching anywhere. You can tap objects directly to interact or attack, use two thumbs like a traditional controller, or control the game with a physical gamepad. The game will adapt dynamically to your play style. Pick up and set down the game at your own pace, it will always save your progress. Afterplace is made to feel like a full-fledged indie adventure game that fits in your pocket.

Afterplace is made by one person, Evan Kice. A former software engineer from Austin TX, Evan quit his job (to the dismay of his friends and family) and has been working full time on Afterplace since early 2019. The initial game released in December of 2022, but Evan plans on continuing to support and polish the game when he can!

CONTOLLER SUPPORT!!! :) There are so many glowing reviews of this game already, there's not a ton I can add. Except this. I took a chance on this game, but sadly couldn't effectively use the touch controls (fat, inflexible thumbs). Needless to say, I was bummed. When I realized I could switch to landscape view and use a controller, the game opened right up for me. More people need to know this is an option. Makes the game more accessible for people like me, so they won't miss out on this gem
This is an amazing game real simple to play I've gotten used to the landscape mode although if we could zoom in a little it would help during combat. Please note I mean like zooming in a little bit like 20% max. Otherwise it's great. At the time of review I haven't even finished the game but it's super fun.
so far it's a just an average game to me nothing special and the dialogue is pretty corny maybe young kids would like this kind of game oh and the touch screen controls are not great maybe better with a controller I'm sure but I don't think this is worth eight dollars maybe two or three but it's not the worst game but could be better
I found it boring and weird. Regret spending the money. Not my type of game.
