About this app
Magnitude shows the earthquake areas and the state of the volcanoes
Magnitudo lets you monitor seismic and volcanic events, view climate data, and analyze natural phenomena on a map.
Earthquake data is provided by reliable sources: INGV ISIDe Working Group (INGV, 2010) and USGS - United States Geological Survey. Each earthquake is displayed on a map with a color scale representing the intensity of the event. Seismic events are categorized by provider and listed with geographical and intensity details.
The Beta version includes data on the activity status of some volcanoes, provided by USGS.
The climate change section displays annual data on major greenhouse gases and global temperature trends. Climate data comes from public and authoritative sources, such as NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and IPCC - Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
