I'm a paid member (Patron) and I really enjoy the overall experience of this app from that standpoint... except the inability to filter out television. I'm not a purist who wants film only as an option- I understand why people would want to log miniseries or individual episodes of television- but without a way to filter it from my feed I don't think I'll continue to pay for a membership in the future.

I'd like to give a hats off to the Letterboxd team for genuinely taking time to read reviews from users. The change I suggested regarding scrolling through the entire cast of a film to view related films was taken care of. I think the app with the new UI is slowly getting better! However the app is substantially slower than it previously was. Recently it takes nearly 10 seconds to open. Still, it is getting better and the addition of the streaming platform is very generous.

this app used to be good even if you're not a pro/patron user, now after they upgraded it the ads or an outside website keeps popping every damn second and i'm not even doing or clicking anything
