It's a good app with a nice simple layout and has definitely helped me to start recognising simple sentences and to build them. an update would be great for German though there hasnt been one for years now and it only goes to B1.
This is a very serviceable app and is hands down better than duolingo. The only glaring issue is the enunciation which is critical when learning to pronounce words correctly. The developers need to re-record the vocals with people who are better at pronouncing the words you are trying to learn.
this app is often recommended for learning japanese, but in my opinion it is inferior to a green owl in almost any way possible. I feel like giving up on it, cause lessons are too hard and you don't get to repeat stuff from previous sections, it just rolls forward without solidifying material. I also tried Chinese and it's even worse there, dropped out almost immediately. design wise also feels outdated. the only thing I like is shadowing in the stories section, felt useful for a vile
i only got to do one lesson before it told me i have to pay for the rest. ONE lesson. idk maybe im doing something wrong but what the hell man.
You can't use this app without a subscription. I heard this app was great and was recommended by some friends but, I would like to have the chance to try the app to an extent with to see if it's worth paying for it or at least watch a few ads to have free lessons.
