Antibiothérapie Pédiatrique vVARY

This work represents a collaboration between members of the infectious diseases department and the pharmacy department of CHU Ste-Justine with the participation of colleagues in emergency medicine and the general pediatrics department.

ApP (Pediatric Antibiotherapy) attempts to provide a rapid response to prescribers' questions regarding the choice of anti-infectives and their dosage, in a given pediatric population. The therapeutic choices recommended in this ApP come above all from the experience acquired at CHU Sainte Justine over the 22 years of existence of the infectious diseases department. They reflect our choices of daily treatment strategies based on our experience and local epidemiology. They are not necessarily copied and may differ from various recommendations of learned societies or government agencies.

The content is presented in three main sections:
● Topics - General information on infectious diseases
● Medications – Dosages, main interactions… everything you need.
● Pathogens – Learn about pathogens; bacteria, viruses, parasites, protozoa…


Biannual updates are planned.
