Butterfly Kyodai Mahjong, paired butterfly wings and connect them with lines.

Butterfly Kyodai is a solitaire mahjong and connect puzzle game. It’s free and best to play! Can you solve every Mahjong Butterfly puzzle? Match and connect the kyodai butterfly tiles and have fun.

Tap on a butterfly wing and find a matching tile to combine it with. You can only match the tiles if a line can be drawn between them. This line may not run through any other tiles and may not make more than two ninety-degree turns. The only exception is two identical tiles that are lying directly next to one another: you can combine these without drawing a line.

Your aim in this mahjong connect game is to clear away all the tiles on the board before the blue bar at the top runs out. Making pairs will refill the blue bar slightly, buying you more time to complete each puzzle. Every level will become slightly more difficult, with hedges and other barriers creating extra challenges. How many puzzles will you be able to complete before the time runs out in this puzzle game?

Don’t forget that you gain two types of bonus item for every level you complete: hint and shuffle. When you get stuck, tap on the magic wand tile to reveal a possible combination you haven’t seen yet on the board. If you feel like you have run out of moves, you can also tap the shuffle icon to mix up all the remaining tiles on the board.

So difficult but so addictive, so it's not your everyday clicker game you have to use logic and actual brain cells if butterflies don't have a clear path you can't match them, only issue is add pops up when using hint by the time add finished you run out of time and game over

Overall, I really like the idea. There are no instructions on how to play, you just have to figure it out. There are 9 levels of difficulty, however, there is no option to save the game. If you leave the game (or if the game freezes like mine did) you'll have to start over at level 1 when you come back. I did turn off the sound because it was so repetitive and annoying.

I found the sound effect to be annoying and the graphics off-putting. When a pair of butterfly wings joins with the frantic sound of flapping bird wings, the butterfly goes to the edge of the screen and leaves a ghostly imprint of its body. The ad experience isn't terrible, they tend to activate occasionally when I used a power-up. HOWEVER, the game doesn't pause, so the timer is running down while you're stuck in a mandatory ad.
