It works! You have to download the app on your phone and also on the watch. I wish there was an option to make the map rotate with a slow spin in the background and additionally change to maybe a night theme when it gets dark in your timezone. Can this be done in a future update? Update: If you tap your watchface, it kinda gives you that night theme, so that's pretty cool.
