I've been saying I need to start working out for months. My sister invited me to try this app and it has motivated me to take the leap! It's fun to see where you're friends are at in their goals and get a little competitive! It's also fun to see your little monster grow and earn the different awards!
It's gotten much better with the Motion bingo. It would be great to be able to invite app friends for a battle without a code. It's a really great app which gives everyone an opportunity to get fit and compete. The only downsides is there is no way to log in to the new version of the app if you had previously signed up with email but have changed your device since then. Also, you can only contact for help through socials which isn't great for everyone.
The app is great to use for motivation. I like that u can communicate with other users on the app. However the app is extremely glitchy and doesn't keep up with my activity. The connectivity has gotten worse. Whole pages don't populate and accepting invites to challenges takes several minutes. It doesn't keep an accurate account of my activity.
The app was working ok when I first synced Google fit to motion. Now it's not syncing in a timely manner and is keeping me from leveling up. Additionally, during this same time frame the app stopped syncing: when I hit my goals to earn shakes, I don't have the ability to collect them. I have contacted support and have received a response which was unfortunately unhelpful, and was just a check-in to see if things have resolved since I last messaged them.
No one answers when u message them asking a question. My monster is frozen says I need shakes to un freeze but won't register steps so I can get a shake.
