Vitaflo’s APP contains full product and nutritional information on our entire range plus a number of helpful dietetic tools including ketogenic and metabolic diets calculators, % weight loss tool, energy deficit calculator (including ONS recommendations), and a BMI calculator.

○ Calculate a patient’s energy deficit.
○ Recommend oral nutrition supplements based on their taste or flavour preference.

• Ketogenic Diet Calculators:
For each of the following versions, you can quickly calculate daily macronutrient intakes in grams for your patient:
• Classical Ketogenic Diet: fat, protein (g per kg body weight) and carbohydrate, based on energy requirement and chosen ketogenic ratio.
• Medium Chain Triglyceride Ketogenic Diet: MCT, protein, carbohydrate and LCT (as quantity and number of ‘food choices’), based on % of energy requirement.
• Modified Ketogenic Diet: fat, based on % of energy requirement.

• PKU Trio Diet
• MCT Diet

To minimise the app’s size we have made all datacards cloud-based, this means to first access a datacard an internet connection will be required. Datacards can be saved locally onto the device meaning no internet connection is required to view these, however these will not automatically update and will need to be re-downloaded if any future alterations are made.
