Maulid Simtudduror is one of the books of Rawi Maulid Nabi by Al Habib Ali bin Muhammad Al Habsyi. Maulid simtudduror is also commonly referred to by the community as Maulid habsyi which refers to the name of the author. This maulid has the original title "Simtudduror fi akhbar Maulid Khairil Basyar min akhlaqi wa aushaafi wa siyar" and is abbreviated as simtudduror. Habib Ali bin Muhammad bin Husein Al-Habsyi who is the compiler of this maulid is a great scholar and waliyullah from Hadraumut, Tarim, Yemen. he was born in 1259 H / 1839 AD and died in 1333 H / 1913 AD.

The great Maulid Simtud Durar then began to spread widely in Seiwun, also throughout Hadhramaut and other faraway places. This Maulid also reached the glorious Haramain, Indonesia, Africa, Dhafar and Yemen. It is stated that the birthday of Simtud Durar was first read at the house of Habib 'Ali, then at the house of his student, Habib 'Umar bin Hamid. His friends then asked Habib 'Ali to read the maulid in their homes. He said to them, “During this month, every day I will take turns reading Maulid Simtud Durar at your house.
On the 27th of Sha'ban 1327 H, Sayyid Hamid bin 'Alwi Al-Bar will go to Medina Al-Munawwarah with a manuscript of Simtud Durar's birthday which he will read in front of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam will feel very happy.
