So far a grate app. Just wish it was all of US, for those that are trying to move to a different state.
not npw
opendoor used to be GREAT to find homes that could be toured anytime at our own pace without an agent asking questions. I loved the no pressure aspect of viewing homes solo. now, the majority of homes in my area of NC aren't "open" and you have to set up an appt. so that means I won't be using opendoor to look for houses for my sister. they took a truly great idea and made it 10x worse....making it like every other real estate company. I bought and sold my house through OD because of the ease
App did not work for me like I thought it would. As a home inspector I kept getting told by opendoor to download the app so you can access the homes without having to call us. I tried and the amount of personal info they want was enough to make me say nevermind I will just call you every time for access
The overall concept of the Opendoor service is appealing and gives individuals more time in the day to check out houses. But, the application is a disaster. It took about 4-5 minutes to get through it and open one house. We were not able to open the next 3 houses in the area because the application would loop back to the home page or the sign in page (even though I was already signed in). We'd also get a message that the house wasn't found, even though it's listed on the website on my PC.
