Flashcards Deluxe is an easy to use yet powerful and full-featured flashcard app which you can use to study just about anything you want.

(There is a free lite version available.)

Features:

• Two smart study modes that automatically focus more on the cards you miss: Leitner and a more advanced Spaced Repetition mode
• Text to speech (TTS) audio in 18 languages (no internet connection needed to study)
• Multiple choice option
• Spelling tests (listen to audio and use keyboard to answer)
• Searchable listing of your cards that allows you to easily look up other terms as you study
• Organize decks in folders and combine decks for studying
• Several flashcard color themes to choose from (sky, wood, chalkboard, etc.)

I thought I might as well just pay for the deluxe version rather than pay for physical cards I have to keep up with. I'm using it for airport codes, and I've aced every test since. I like the different ways to set them up. You have your regular front side back side. However, you can also set up like mini games based on multiple choice, spelling, etc. You can put the cards in order or random prder and alternate which sides of the cards you want to see. It's a little complicated, but overall 5/5

Excellent app for learning Japanese vocabulary. With 5 sides, and category settings, you can learn word meanings and kanji readings. The only negative is, during multiple choice mode, if you have more than 3 lines of text on a side then all the lines won't show up in the multiple choice box.

It is pretty much the perfect app! Or it would be if there weren't a strange bug where, despite me studying 10 cards per session (in space repetition mode), at the end it will pretend that I just studied 1 card during the whole session, so I have to redo it. This happens especially if I take a long time reviewing (which I like to do) or if I change to a different app to do anything else, say, to quickly Google something or to reply to a message. This happens to me at least once every other day.

I just bought the app after watching an (old) video about someone reviewing the app specially the import from quizlet feature but I was disappointed to see that this feature is no longer available or at least it's no longer as easy as it used to be. In addition I cannot find the "copy as text" feature in quizlet decks; the only option to copy is a (shortened) link to the deck itself. Nevertheless the app seems good. Hoping for a solution from the devs or else I may have to resort to a refund.

This app made itself the default for Excel files. I can no longer view an Excel on my phone because it opens in this app. Garbage. Edit after developer response: I didn't click "always". I never chose to open an Excel file with this app. After installing, Excel files opened here by default. I had to uninstall to correct the problem.
