About this app

Developer Description

Dominosa Puzzle Logic Game is a adult offline game. Fun and easy brain game.

Dominosa is a logic puzzle game.

You have to find the location of all dominoes on the grid. A domino is a pair of numbers.
You can have only one of each pair.

Dominoes originated in China before being brought to Europe in the early eighteenth century.
Dominosa is a German puzzle, according to Martin Gardner, invented by O.S. Adler in 1874.
It was patented by Richard Osa (pseudonym for O.S. Adler) in Germany in 1893 as German
Reichs Patent No. 71539 and he published it in 1894 under the name of "Dominosa" combining
'Domino' with his initials. It later appeared in a domino puzzle book in 1912 co-authored
by Fritz Jahn.

You get 10 puzzles for every level. If you want anymore you have to pay, even though theres ads in game. Sometimes the ads block your view of the dominos so you have to reset the game. Not bad but not worth keeping

Looks great, but... 1) Puzzles of multiple solutions. For example, the second novice puzzle has three distinct solutions. The first master puzzle I looked at had EIGHT solutions. What's the point? This is just sloppy programming. 2) Player is forced to place whole dominoes instead of being able to mark single walls at a time. So, if there is a "4" in the upper left corner with a "5" to the right and just below, there's no way to mark the lines between the 4's and 5's that are adjacent elsewhere in the puzzle. That's the main way Dominosa puzzles are solved. A correct implementation of Dominosa is included in "Simon Tatham's Puzzles" -- which of course is 100% free without ads and allows unlimited generation of puzzles with domino sets of all sizes.

I prefer the Simon Tatham version, it has no advertisements, better controls and guides
