The NE is the only European bias news pub' in the UK (with the possible exception of The Guardian). I seldom discuss reading the NE because of hostility, even from 'educated' individuals within my circle of acquaintances. I have found the New European subs' expensive; plus the mobile app a bit clunky and difficult to read (text size) when I've purchased one issue. Otherwise, a very necessary publication for balanced, informative reading.

After a small hiccup purchasing at the beginning the app is great. Allows you to download back issues and chose your method of subscription. The articles are as ever informative and well written and gives a wide range of news throughout Europe as well as the UK.

It's OK, the using of Google news stand or the apple alternative may be a better idea? I don't want another app to remember to open or pin. Also why does it need my location the ability to manage calls and my contacts straight after launching...

I've added a star now they've at least tried to improve it. The content is now behind a paywall but you can buy single issues via the Play Store. It's still bloody awkward though. And my print subscription gives me no digital rights at all !

Awful app don't know why it can't be fixed. The paper is gender critical and these articles give no right to rely nor do the Editorial board consider it Transphobic. Sorry to say I cancelled my subscription explaining my reasons but no reply it's like you don't like it just leave..this shocked me given the journalist employed... Thought Alistair Campbell was better than this
