Signed up to digital version as could no longer get paper delivered. The news etc is satisfactory but very disappointed that unable to print off the crossword. This was one of the main reasons for signing up to the digital version. Can get the news/sport etc from other sources. Don't think we will continue our sub when this one runs out.

often blocks of pages just don't appear. the digital edition doesn't have all of today's news, and old news is interspersed as you swipe through the content. having now subscribed to the Times digital edition I can see how bad this all is in comparison. only upside is the price, but I'd happily pay more for a better experience.

I too as a print subscriber, got an email saying there was a "new app" and to login you should "enter your email address and your subscriber number". Having never used the app before I downloaded it and was asked for my subscriber number and order number. Order number????? I emailed the Scotsman to ask for help and this is their reply ..... "Please do check that your app has been updated. On opening the updated app you should be prompted to enter your email address, and your voucher subscriber number. If there is no update available on your device then please delete the current app and download the new app to resolve this." I'm still no further forward as I can't find another version of the app. Very disappointing.
