Sheikh Mishary Rashed Alafasy did his studies at the College of the Quran and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Makkah, and he has specialized in the ten readings and translations of the Quran. He currently serves as the imam and leads the prayer (salah/namaz) and Taraweeh at the Grand Mosque of Kuwait. Sheikh Mishary Rashed Alafasy was voted by readers to be the Best Quran Reciter in the 2012 About.com Readers' Choice Awards.

This app does not work. For a year now it has been saying "download failed because you may not have purchased this app" although it requires no purchase. This app is meant to be a supplementary app for the Quran Explorer app to allow you to listen to Mishary offline but it does not work at all. I would really appreciate it if that can be fixed thank you.
