Just starting to journal at 41. This app makes it easy. I asked ChatGPT to create a bunch of writing prompts and loaded them as templates, so I always have something to write about. The location, tagging, pictures, and mood features make it easy to find past journals to reflect. At least for now, I find it extremely motivating. I wish I had this 20 years ago, when I failed at starting journals multiple times.

Need an option to export as word doc on Android app. Otherwise it is excellent, simple, easy to use app with nice UI. Paid version is superb for easy back up online and retrival anytime, anywhere.

I liked it a lot but lost data when I changed phones. I had used it since 2015-- on at least 2 previous devices! I didn't realize I [now]had to pay for a subscription in order to get my entries on another phone. I had to wipe my phone when turning it in. If I had known a subscription was needed, I could have at least joined for a month to download my memories. Extremely bummed. I wish I could get my entries back. Might upgrade rating if I can get them back.

It's so frustrating! I want to love this app so much. Every year I go looking to see if I can find a journal app I'll truly love. I look at this one every time, and think it's dang near perfect, EXCEPT there's no text formatting at all! No bold, no changing the size, or color, no bullet points for a list, NOTHING! I find it so strange that it doesn't have such a basic function! 😫 Another annoyance is, so far as I can tell, in order to back up and sync you have to use Dropbox. 😠
