Nero is a user-friendly App capable of running diagnostics and extracting information from vehicles aimed at professional mechanics and enthusiasts. Using the standard OBDII (OBD2) and almost any ELM327 adapter, the app exposes the live data directly from the vehicle and is also able to read & clear DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

For example, TVPE-100 with its gadgets TVD (fuel pump flow meter), TFD (% ethanol on gasoline) and TPD (fuel pump pressure meter). The instantaneous reading is available directly at the equipment's display and the historic is available at Nero's plots.

The protocols current supported by the app are:

- ISO 9141-2
- ISO 14230-4 KWP
- ISO 15765-4 CAN

The protocols support is also dependent on the adapter used. The adapters sold by PLANATC (a Brazilian company) are totally compatible with the above mentioned protocols.

As with any vehicle scan tool, displayed data depend on the resources made available by each ECU.
