I am pleasantly surprised at the strength of the ai. It's better than the 960 bots on Chess dot com. This is a good app. Anyone who enjoys 960 should appreciate it. It may not appeal to chess beginners. Even on the easy setting, it is a strong opponent. If beginners stick with it though, I think it would definitely improve their skills.

There's no rule implemented that draws the game when three-fold repetition occurs (nor, I assume, is the 50-move rule implemented), making some games impossible to complete without using the undo button. I would hope the game recognizes stalemates at least but I haven't gotten any yet. You can't call yourself a proper chess app if you haven't implemented all of the rules of the game. Other than that it's pretty fun; there aren't a lot of options for chess960 apps.

I hate this app and that's hard coming from me because I love chess. I had a bad experience. the queen wasn't in the correct spot. every time I would take one of my opponents pieces it would say I ran out of time and didn't take it. it would always say that black had a Checkmate on me. even if it didn't.and for example like one time I had my king and they moved their Bishop right next to my king and it said I had Checkmate even though my king could have taken that bishop or I could have moved a piece in between the bishop and the King. I have personally played other games from the same company and they have not satisfied me either. I've done reviews on their Checkers apps and other games of that such I feel like they could improve so much.and I feel like it would be so much more fun if they got everything fixed and move the queen in the right spot.a lot of other people are rating it high and saying it was amazing and stuff but it's really not and you guys can.but this is a reliable review and if you don't believe me to go ahead and test it out.have a nice day and don't waste your time on this terrible game.Happy New Years.
