Push Doctor can treat over 1000 conditions, and 9/10 patients receive the care they require having one of our video consultations. We frequently see patients with both physical and mental health complaints, with our expert GP's on hand to help patients when they need it most.
HOW DOES PUSH DOCTOR WORK?
Push Doctor is an online consultation service working in partnership with the NHS. You must be an NHS patient registered at an NHS GP practice to access the service. You will be able to access our online appointment service in the same way that you make an appointment to see your GP.
When you make an appointment with your practice (via. face to face visit or telephone), the Receptionist will offer you an online consultation, and send you an SMS invite to sign up to our Push Doctor service. Once you receive your invite, you'll be able to register an account with us online.
Book your appointment in the app quickly and easily, simply selecting the time that suits you most.
When it's time for your consultation, you'll enter our online waiting room. Don't worry, you can use your phone while you wait - as soon as a GP is available you will receive a call notifying you that your consultation has started.
In your online video consultation, the GP will ask you about your symptoms and can take a look at any affected areas, or listen to any symptoms, for example, if you have a cough.
If you'd like to use text to communicate with the GP in your consultation, there's a chat functionality. If you need medication, the GP can write you a prescription instantly which you can collect from your nominated pharmacy.

New users might not realise that a text message will be received 10mins before the appointment, which is helpful, and that it's the Push Doctor app that drives the video call. Not Zoom or anything. Hope this helps. Andy

Used to think this app was helpful, however upon trying to use it tonight I cannot login with my NHS login more can I sign up for an account as my gp surgery is not listed.

Clinician was excellent but this app is poor. The app placed me in the waiting room after the identity check. Twice whilst waiting, the app disconnected me from the waiting room. Once, it said that my consultation was complete. There were connection issues during the call and a long lag to connect to the clinician when the call had already begun. Again, I have zero complaints about the clinician, only the app.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I had a HORRIBLE experience with PushDoctor. I booked an appointment and clearly specified in advance the medication I needed, but when I met with the doctor, they refused to prescribe it. I made my needs clear from the start so the doctor shouldn't have called. After the appointment, I promptly requested a refund since the service did not fulfill what was advertised. I had to make a chargeback claim as they also refused to refund me.
