J-SEI Mahjong Club has been using the HKS Mahjong 3D app since March 26, 2020 after COVID closed our Senior Center. The latest 6.0.2 version solves the crashes on Self Help Mahjong and Kong. App crashes when using Zoom video on the same device: use 3-way call or an audio bridge instead. Still some initial online challenges with seniors registering, disconnecting and not being able to see Join or Show Roomlist. Highly recommend during and after pandemic.

Its good and looks flashier but there are a few things I'd change to truly surpass the 2d version. 1. I don't like being able to move the table. I'd like to be able to lock it in a set position. Then I could just swipe my tiles the way I would toss them away in a real game. I don't like tapping it in comparison to swiping the tile like on the 2d version. 2. The discarded tiles are too neat!! My family throw them down and they go all over the place. 3. I'd like my tiles just a little bigger

Poor UI design. Invite just opens options to send a link to other media apps, but clicking on it doesn't start a game or indicate if anything is supposed to happen. Buttons rarely work even when pressed multiple times. Exiting the screen and redoing it barely helps. If you're lucky the multiplayer room will start sometimes. If you manage to get in it's ok, the game play is rather slow because of animations. Eg. When tiles are discarded, when tiles are distributed, switching between players turns

Nice with instructions but some things aren't explained and language is broken. I can never finish a game because they take long and app doesn't remember progress and let me resume game when I've been out of app a while or restarted phone. This is a "review" for other users to help determine if it's for them, not feedback to developers. I said good/bad things and you expect me to help you improve your app. No. You enjoy being snarky back and forth with users you go ahead. Not me.
