As part of the World Family Radio Maria, Radio Maria Rwanda has been authorized to operate in Rwanda with the joint signing of the convention between the Ministry of Information and the Catholic Church on May 17, 2004.
It began its broadcasts on August 15, 2004, the day of the Assumption. It transmits on frequencies of 88.6MHZ; 96.4MHZ, 97.3MHZ; 99.4MHZ; 99.8MHZ. It is also possible to follow his broadcasts on the Internet: www.radiomaria.rw.
Radio Maria is different from other Catholic media by its main purpose of evangelism to call for conversion. It is realized through prayer, the Word of God and the teaching of the Catholic faith. In addition to prayer, RM combines other programs on Sacred Scripture, the Doctrines of Faith, Morality and Spirituality. Radio Maria is a non-profit organization whose functioning is ensured by the donations of the listeners
