Took a bit to get used to the controls, as they are a bit unusual for an action game. Very much a love letter to Metroidvania type games, love the atmosphere and tone of the visual style. Highest recommendation I can give for a game, would give 10 stars if I could. Worth every dollar and then some.

It has a very unique metroidvania platforming, needed some time to get used to. Tbh I'm not really that good at playing metroidvania games that has a vague story progression on an expansive map is pretty confusing for me, pretty easy to get lost, it's just my rambling, DON'T actually add the guiding system, it'll ruin the metroidvania fun. overall: graphics 5/5, controls 3/5, story 4/5

The game would be a 5 stars if it was not for some retarded decisions. It is not thought for touch screen so it is absurdly difficult in some cases. Very difficult to press buttons quickly. Easy to open the map by mistake and it does not pause the game. Too difficult to deploy salt and too easy to loose it. It was not explained how to upgrade.

I didn't like this game the first time I played. I gave it another shot, got y further in the game. But the developer thinks making tedious is equivalent to fun. It's not that failing a challenge is so terrible, it's that you're forced to pass several challenges to progress. Sometimes it's a time challenge and then the way back to the start of the challenge is just a boring trek.
