Project Overview

The Student Budgeting Allowance App is an innovative project developed as part of the Bookkeeping and Accounting minor class at the University of Eastern Philippines. This app is designed to assist college students in efficiently managing their daily allowance and expenses, making it easier to keep track of personal finances. It provides a convenient and user-friendly tool to help students take control of their financial management, enabling them to stay on top of their budgeting, spending, and saving goals. With financial independence becoming more crucial as students navigate through their academic journey, this app seeks to empower students by offering a simple yet effective platform to manage their finances responsibly.

Target Audience

The target audience for this app includes college students aged 18 and above. In particular, it is tailored for individuals who are currently enrolled in universities and colleges, with a focus on students who may have a limited or fixed monthly allowance. Many students often struggle with balancing their finances, and this app aims to alleviate some of that burden by providing them with a streamlined way to track their daily expenses. By offering tools that help students set their daily budgets, input allowance amounts, and calculate the necessary budget based on fixed expenses, the app is designed to guide students in making better financial decisions. Whether students are living away from home or managing their finances independently for the first time, the app serves as an indispensable tool to help them stay on top of their budget, avoid overspending, and make informed financial choices.

Development Team

The development of the Student Budgeting Allowance App was carried out by two 1st Year BSIT students from the University of Eastern Philippines, College of Science. The project was undertaken as part of their academic course in Bookkeeping and Accounting, aimed at creating an effective tool for managing finances.

Rocky Malobago: Rocky is a skilled Front-End and Back-End Developer with a deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of app development. His expertise ensures that the app runs smoothly, providing users with a seamless experience from start to finish.
