RCM Corbel is intended to analyze and design the capacity of a reinforced corbel. It assumes that the corbel and wall or column are poured monolithically. Also assumes that stirrups are closed or tied. The App assumed the bearing area on the bracket or corbel shall not project beyond the straight portion of the primary tension reinforcement, nor project beyond the interior face of the transverse bar.
