At 72 and a novice trail runner without any formal training (and addicted to the sport) Recover has been instrumental in keeping me injury free. When I first started using the app it was to deal with some minor pain issues from my running. The app asked the right questions and came back with recommended workout routines to help solve my issues before they became bigger problems. I'm a huge fan!
I use the free version and it is good for a quick post workout stretch if you want to follow a routine. only real annoyance is the voice coach endless repeating how good stretching is for me. I know, I wouldn't be doing it otherwise.
cool routines but not very many of them. could use some more variety. this app also randomly used 2GB of background data in one month where I don't ever remember opening it. would recommend removing background data permissions.
Tried a few times via strava. With subscription and without. My main question is why there isn't the ability to play as a full routine. Just set up my phone, select recovery and play through the full thing like a guided workout in real time. I don't really want to have to toggle the timer every time or skip on to the next part. Seems kind of pointless. I could just use workouts or poses fron a book etc. So if you want more people to find this useful include a guided mode. Like on WAHOO systm.
Can only presume at this point that the app has been abandoned. Very little works. The video demonstrations and voiceovers don't work, it's sluggish, and a bit embarrassing really.
