Detention is an unique atmospheric horror game heavily influenced by Taiwanese/East Asian culture (Taoism and Buddhism references) based on the 1960s Taiwan under martial law.

With simple point and click mechanism, the player control characters who venture into the school beset by hostile supernatural events to uncover stories behind the haunted place.

Incorporated religious elements based in Taiwanese/Chinese culture and mythology, the game provided players with unique graphics and gaming experience.

I was a little hesitant on spending the very reasonable fee on purchasing this game because, you know, we've all been burned in the past by garbage games, but I am so glad I did purchase it, I have played a lot of horror games on many different systems and this game was incredible! I have zero regrets, do not hesitate to purchase, I only wish it was longer but it ended perfectly for the game that it is.

Pretty cool and tragic game story although I feel bad for wei, he got sentenced just chasing admiration for Ray. The lingered scenes aren’t as horrific as I expected especially the jumpscares almost stopped in chapter 2. The symbolism and metaphors were really hard to get but whatever. I’d also like to play as Wei more than just the prologue and the true ending part, he seemed an interesting character showing complex feelings for Ray. Overall game story 10/10, graphics 9/10, jumpscares 7/10.

The game is good. Everything just after the chapter, you have to pay if you wanna play the rest. So if ur broken(like me)I don't recommend this, although it's better than most of the horror games on play store.

Amazing game but apparently you have to pay to play the full version. Just after like a part you can say, the game said pay the full version and won't let me go ahead. Would be nice if it were free but oh well, it's a game with quality. I can't purchase so had to delete it. If you are not someone who would buy, don't bother downloading. Waste of time.
