How SafeKiddo Works

Protect your child from harmful or inappropriate online content. Choose which types of content should be blocked or use predefined templates tailored to different age groups.

Installation Guide
1. Download the SafeKiddo app from Google Play.
2. Select whether the device belongs to the Parent or the Child.
3. Create a parent account in the app.
4. Install the app on your child’s device and sign in using your parent account.
Important Permissions
Device Administrator Permission
The app uses Device Administrator permission. This prevents the SafeKiddo Child app from being removed from the child’s device without the parent’s approval.
AccessibilityService API Disclosure
SafeKiddo uses the Android AccessibilityService API exclusively to provide core parental control features. This includes:
- Monitoring which apps are being used,
- Applying time limits and usage restrictions,
- Enforcing content filtering and blocking attempts to bypass protection,
- Providing accurate activity reports to the parent.
This permission allows the app to identify on-screen activity in order to ensure proper functioning of parental controls. Accessibility data is not used for advertising and not shared with third parties.
Users can disable Accessibility access at any time in the Android system settings.
