Sizing of an earth electrode according to NF C15-100
In accordance with NF C15-100, the quality of an earth connection
(resistance as low as possible) is above all a function of
two factors:
- The method of realization,
- The nature of the soil (resistivity).
Resistivity can be measured by the WENNER method with 4 stakes.
According to the NF C15-100 I reported the average resistivity values in the application to make a calculation
approximate ground connections.
To be more precise you can
measure this resistivity and report
your measurement in "Other value".
In this application are represented
all the embodiments of current use. You will find there:
- The naked rectilinear conductor
- The earth stake
- The vertical plate
- The horizontal grid
- The loop at the bottom of the excavation
The best solution in the mode of
realization and the most widespread is
the loop at the bottom of the excavation.
For each embodiment, you can also go to a merchant site in order to have visibility on the type of products to be used and the price. I have also provided you with measuring devices allowing you to measure the resistivity and resistance of the ground.
