Calculate consumed power for fans and pumps
This app is aimed at users who wish to do a basic calculation of power consumed by an axial or centrifugal fan, and any pump. Following basic parameters are required:
1) For fan power calculation:
a) Air volume in cubic meter per hour.
b) Static pressure in Pascals.
c) Dynamic pressure in Pascals.
d) Expected efficiency of the fan. Respective fan curves should be
referred for the same.
2) For Pump power calculation:
a) Water volume pumped.
b) Fluid density in kg/cubic meter
c) Head in meters
d) Efficiency of pump. Pump curves of the particular pump should be
referred for the same.
