This was my first RPG I ever played as a kid, and it's amazing to finally have this on android after spotting it on iOS some years ago. I was just expecting a 1 to 1 port, but I'm very impressed with all the enhancement settings added. Thank you so much! If you ever do an Eternal Blue release, you have a day 1 purchase from me! I play this on controller, but for those complaining about the touch screen controls, there is an option in the settings that allows you to use traditional touch input.
Mildly Disappointed, but gameplay is great. I really wish there was an option for the voice actors and song lyrics from Lunar SSSC. The song lyrics in this version are ATROCIOUS. They do not flow with the music and it almost ruins it. The movement on the world map is also annoying at times. But other than that the game runs well and I am happy to be playing Lunar again.
Touch controls are brutal. Tap to move only goes in a straight line so don't expect characters to move around any objects. Touch pad is garbage. Something as simple as walking into doorways can take several attempts. Then comes the combat. It won't recognize the skill I'm trying to select for 10+ taps. It's easier to just select the AI button in combat. But at that point this game just becomes an auto battler you watch. Something as simple as controls for a turn based RPG completely ruined this.
Amazing game, terrible port. The voice acting is idiotic and the settings do not work. you can set cutscenes volume to 0 and voice volume to 0 and nothing happens, still loud dumb movie scenes, those settings don't actually do anything at all. The navigation is so terrible I gave up partway through the tutorial cave. I love this game but this NOT the way to play it.
The audio in the original is far superior, the new audio sounds terrible. I own the ps1 version and played it side by side and ps1 audio is far better. Sad really
