Never tried this type of game before, but I was instantly hooked!(Plus most of the other game-sites wouldn't work on my phone for some reason-that sort of clinched it for me too!)Since then,I've downloaded quite a few Sparkling Society games.Just great.More!More!
Overall, Good App. It naturally teaches you patience, land management, Thinking ahead, strategies, and so on. Now, it's not until you get to the 30-40 levels that it does mess up when trying to do the ad to get double money/Speed up time-- which is very needed to do. Coins do cost a pretty dime or two. They use the mental addiction of games humans naturally obtain and have set up a snare with them coins. Eventually, you can't get what's needed without purchasing them from time to time.
It's a good past time. I just think that the home's, building's should be more universal in the game. Be able to use them on other island's instead of just 1 or 2. And the coins are difficult. You have to use double, 3x the amount of coins to get only 25% back in coins as a reward. And bridges, how do vehicles get to each area without.
The graphics are colorful and the idea is fun, but the gameplay gets repetitive quickly. There’s not much challenge or variety, and it starts to feel like the same thing over and over. Also, the ads are a bit too frequent and some features feel locked behind paywalls. It has potential, but it needs more depth and polish to keep players interested.
