The Youth Mental Health project aims to provide important support to young people, focusing on the prevention and promotion of mental health. This multidisciplinary program is committed to identifying any signs of psychological or emotional distress early and offering specialized interventions to help young people in difficulty.
Through screening, monitoring and early intervention activities, the project aims to provide timely and appropriate support to those who need assistance to deal with health-related problems

Furthermore, Salute Mentale Giovani is actively committed to spreading the culture of mental health.
By organizing training and information meetings aimed at general practitioners, paediatricians, teachers, parents and Third Sector workers, the project seeks to raise awareness and educate the community on issues related to youth mental health.
Through this integrated and collaborative approach, the project aims to create an environment where young people can feel supported, understood and able to address their mental health challenges in a positive and constructive way.
The name of our APP is the English acronym for At Risk Mental State.
The ARMS App represents an innovative and important initiative to reduce the distance between young people and mental health professionals, facilitating access to psychological support in a quick, simple and confidential way.
Here's how it works:
Download and registration: The App is available for free on the App Store and Google Play and is easy to download. Once downloaded, it requires registration by entering data such as email, personal information and a telephone contact. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent to ensure your identity.
Psychological well-being questionnaire: After logging in, the App asks you to fill out a short questionnaire on your psychological well-being. The answers will be evaluated by psychologists/psychotherapists.
Evaluation and professional contact: Following the evaluation of the questionnaire, the team of professionals will contact the user by telephone or email to make an in-person appointment and evaluate the path to take.
Free service in 2024: It is important to note that throughout 2024 the services offered under the youth mental health project are free.
