Loved the first one loved this one. Easy puzzles and then challenging ones. Glad they've out a guide on YouTube to save from buying more hints if you don't want to purchase. I love the free hints they give you anyway as it is enough to usually help. The fast map is brilliant as its alot to navigate towards the end. Really enjoyed. Thankyou.
As others have said. This is one of syntaxity's weaker entries in terms of puzzle logic. Especially aggregious is an arbitrary use of shears...in a castle full of vegetation. That said, expect the same incredible quality when it comes to graphics and music as their other entries. The clues range from cryptic to moon logic, not to mention a few subtle spot the pixel scene interactions. Overall, not my favorite syntaxity game, but still a superb point and click adventure for phone.
Loved "The Lost Ship" as it was mostly linear with little backtracking making most of the clues click in in your brain. The clues in this one are very scattered and it's harder to make the link between them. "The Lost Ship" was chill, made sense and was mostly relaxing; "Blackthorn Castle 2" makes less sense and relatively stressful: clues are scattered, lots of backtracking, some have no explanation (like the blue powder and spells, where are the instructions? Felt random). Still a good game.
Graphics really good. What let the game down were the puzzles, most of them made no sense. Have just finished playing it again but I cannot like this game at all. The map is useless locations spread all over the place at random. Too much running around all over the place, backwards and forwards. The first game was much better. Will not buy another of your new games again unless I can play the lite version first.
What a bonkers game! This is just a random walk around a huge map with random clues bearing no relationship location or the progress through the game. The hints are next to useless, "you have something you can use in room 9". First you have to find room 99. The map is so large and the room numbering so illogical it is hard to navigate. You then look at the room and there seems to be no logical use ofr the items you have in the room. eg flute puzzle, where does the order of the notes come from?
