Run or Die is a fast paced Endless Runner game that focuses on movement based abilities (and a huge Ion Cannon)! Players must make decisions in the blink of an eye and react quickly in order to run and jump through a hazardous city environment where every run is different! Can you make it and keep running to reach the Lab to save Flow?

I'm tickled to have run in to another highly difficult platformer(-esque) game that Lifeformed had his hand in. Though on a serious note, I really do like this game. It took a bit of time for it to stick with me, as well as some fiddling with the controls, but when it clicked it clicked strong. It does have its issues though: Some of the obstacles are not as visible as they really should be, and I find myself running in to things I believed were background decoration. Also, I dig the 90s cyberpunk Anime as filtered through an Western artist from the mid 2000s as filtered through an artist from the current year. If that doesn't make sense don't worry about it.

It's ok, kinda fun. Too hard right at the start though. I like a challenge but work into it.. Not fun starting off and every run be short. Cant into it because of high initial frustration. Uninstalled.

3 stars because editor's choice claim there is no 'rote memorization'. The game is essentially unbeatable without experiencing all the possible patterns within the game. The game gradually will feed you more and more difficult and complex maneuvers as you progress, but you will have to keep restarting and replaying the easier parts just to practice once again the patterns you havent mastered. I claim it's pattern matching because there are just some patterns that you can't know if you need to jump early or late without recognizing how it looks from previous play through. So when you play an unfamiliar new 'pattern' in the level, there is no gaurantee you can pass it with all the skill in the world. So for that reason, I'm out.
