MedSchool v4.2.5
The Medical CompanyAbout this app
MedSchool is a comprehensive mobile clinical handbook designed specifically for medical students and junior doctors, solving the problem of accessing reliable and up-to-date medical information on the go. This app benefits medical professionals the most, particularly those in the early stages of their careers, by providing a valuable resource for learning and reference. Compared to alternatives in the Medical category, MedSchool stands out with its excellent user rating and top-tier app status, indicating a high level of quality and user satisfaction. However, its limited download numbers may suggest a smaller user base compared to more established medical apps.
Pros
- With a 4.5/5 user rating and over 50,000 downloads, MedSchool demonstrates a strong reputation and social proof, indicating a high level of user satisfaction and trust in the app's content and functionality.
- The app's developer, The Medical Company, provides a professional website and email for community support, showing a commitment to user engagement and feedback.
- MedSchool's in-app purchase model allows users to access additional content and features, providing a flexible and customizable learning experience.
- The app's lack of ads ensures a distraction-free and professional environment for users to focus on their medical studies and reference needs.
- With no permissions required, MedSchool prioritizes user privacy and security, making it a trustworthy choice for medical professionals handling sensitive information.
Cons
- The limited download numbers may indicate a smaller user base and less community engagement compared to more popular medical apps, potentially limiting the app's ability to incorporate user feedback and suggestions.
- The in-app purchase model, while flexible, may be seen as aggressive by some users, particularly if essential features are locked behind paywalls, potentially limiting accessibility for budget-conscious users.
- The app's content and features may not be suitable for all medical specialties or user needs, potentially requiring additional resources or apps to supplement its functionality.
- The lack of information on update frequency and device compatibility may raise concerns about the app's long-term support and performance on various Android devices.

Great app. Didn't know such an amazing app existed until I needed some info for my rotation and I came across this app. One thing I would like to be included in this app is a previous button included when you select a particular topic. The next button option is there at the bottom of the selected reading but if you want to go to a previous section you have to go back and choose it manually from the list.
Seems like a pretty good app with good info and everything. I totally understand the premium access thing but I can't afford it right now so I'm stuck to only being able to read three pages every day. I would really appreciate it if there was a version with ads that gives unlimited access. I don't care how many ads it would have, just that I'd be able to use the full version without paying. That would be really amazing.
The trial pages they let you see for free are way better quality and more substantial than the paid options. I feel misled. I wish I used geeky medics, it's cheaper and better.
Only allows you to read three pages per day, and most of the information found in those pages only link to other pages, which count toward your page count.
Not free at all, they give you 5 free pages then you have to pay to continue, should've made that clear before installing!
