Understand your sleep using Polar's heart rate monitors and cutting edge AI.
Understand your sleep using Polar's heart rate monitors and cutting edge AI.
Sleepy connects to your Polar H10 or Verity Sense heart rate monitor to analyze your night's sleep with market-leading accuracy. This app does not offer cognitive-behavioral therapy or sleep hygiene tips. It focuses on providing the most accurate, clinical sleep analysis available, presented it in a way that provides insight into your night and sleep patterns, in as supportive a way as possible for poor sleepers. The app avoids all blue tones, and minimizes visual detail. It shows a hypnogram portraying distinct sleep stages. It also charts the more analog transitions between levels of consciousness, e.g., as REM sleep cyclically displaces deep, to reveal insights into the bumpy nights of poor sleepers.
Our algorithms are based on US hospital and university analyses of polysomnography traces of 13,000 nights, generously facilitated by The National Sleep Research Resource, which is funded by The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Sleepy App owes these institutions, their staff and patients a huge debt of gratitude.
