Praise for Lifeline:
“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo
“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

It's the first time in a long time that I've actually CARED about the character. I have played the first lifeline but not the second which was a mistake but honestly I still ended up loving the story and managed to understand what was happening anyways. The only "complaint" would be that at times the choices you make do not seem to have a difference on the ending however I refuse to remove any stars because I can only imagine how difficult it is to make such an engaging story in the first place.
I love the concept. Having story in bite size chunks is a novel idea, and the conversational tone is delightful. The only issue is, it broke on me. When the game launches, it never shows dialogue, so I can't see the next stage in the story. Have tried force closing and reloading the app, and restarting the phone. Only thing left that I can think of is either wiping the data or reinstalling it. If this gets fixed, it'd be one of the best games on the store.
You know, all these types of games make the same mistake. They forget the magic words: time passes. Sitting and staring at a screen for minutes at a time while nothing happens *is not fun or enjoyable*. You can't write books like that, or make movies like that. Add it doesn't work here either. It's just plain bad design
Why does this need access to my storage to play the game? The others in the series didn't. It shouldn't need to "collect data for future games" for the game itself to function. You can not opt out of this. Real bummer as I got invested into the series. Hope the Devs change this.
"The storage permission is used to collect anonymous gamplay data to improve current and future player experiences." Couldn't see why this is needed for a CYOA game. In addition, this is a premium game. Uninstalled.
