simplist UI I've ever seen, don't read the other reviews, they want it to be like Hulu and Netflix had a baby. all bad reviews are quality of life improvements, they're upset cause they'd rather pirate a show instead of supporting streaming and animating studios by pressing a few more buttons.

For 5 years, this app was an infuriating mess where even the simplest action were agonizing. As of summer 2024, the UI has been completely redone and some backend issues have been patched. Honestly looks and feels like a first class streaming service. I can't give it 5 stars yet, as there are definitely still some backend issues. While some of them were fixed, the rest were just covered up by the new UI. So, you may get some stutters and minor bugs, BUT IT WORKS NOW and looks clean! - 4/5🤙

While the overall feel of the app has improved, they completely removed the feature to resume the next episode of a show, so you have to remember which episode you were on or search history to find it. The app is also missing basic QoL features that the web version has, like going to the next episode when the current one ends. Also, for some reason my watchlist is hidden down in settings, which seems very silly. I love the service overall, but the app feels neglected and abandoned.

The selection is alright but it is by far the worst streaming app I've ever used. First off there is no sign of a way to open your watchlist so there's no point in having one. second the continue watching makes things more difficult as it takes you to the page of the individual episode and not the actual show your watching so you have to search the show repeatedly to watch the following episode. Not just that but if you leave an episode half way through good luck getting it off the continue watching. Third there is no skip intro feature at all and the skip button only allows for 30 seconds at a time which is it's own pain. Fourth is the keyboard which makes the whole system lag out, why they couldn't use the keyboard built into the device I have no idea. there are many more issues but those are definitely the biggest.
